Amenities & Accommodations
I wanted our beach house to be a little different and bright, so we have some yellow ceilings and doors to add a little color to our lives! It’s the beach, and it should be bright and fun, right? The house features an open floor plan with a connected living room and kitchen, so you’re never far away from the conversations.
The kitchen is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs. The best part of our house is that every bedroom has its own bathroom! This allows several families or groups to have their own space. Each bedroom also has a small smart TV for a little down time if needed and a small deck to peek out at the action outside.
After Hurricane Michael, most homes in the area are being constructed with pylons, so you will have to walk upstairs to get to the first floor and second floors of the home. If you want to hang out under the house, there is an outside bathroom (with a shower!) that’s available for you to wash off the sand after a day at the beach. Please be aware that there is still a lot of construction going on after Hurricane Michael. You can still see tiles from homes that were completely washed away by Hurricane Michael. Rebuilding has been a huge process for this community.
One of the best parts about the house is its location, Mexico Beach! From the beach house, it’s 300 feet to the sand and 700 feet to the water. I have been coming here since 1995 and love the laid back, small town vibe. Mexico Beach is close to Panama City, so if you want to take a trip to Pier Park, it’s only about a 45 minute drive.
We hope you choose to come stay with us and fall in love with this small-town beach paradise!
